Bound To Me (Leather #1) Page 6
Oh, Dr. Tyler, I’m offended. Do you think I would hunt you?
Hopefully not. As she typed out her reply, she was surprised to realize what a lie that was. She nibbled on her bottom lip. To be hunted by man like Decland could be thrilling. Playfulness was like foreplay for some, and right now she was feeling very playful.
The best kind of hunting is for those who do not wish to be caught.
Goodbye, Mr. Wallace. She dropped her phone back on her desk feeling like he’d thrown her for a loop. Where did she go from here?
Until our next encounter.
Encounter? What the fuck does that mean? When had her life gotten so complicated? Oh, yeah, the night she’d had her first one night stand with the wrong man. He said it himself—he was more interested in the hunt than he was the actual catch. You can’t commit to a man like that. Once the mystery is gone, he will leave. Once he’s figured out all the secrets his partner had to offer, the next step is watching his back as it goes through the door. Sure, he’d come to her for help, and she could help him. No way in hell would she be the woman that tried to “save” a man like Decland Wallace. She would be his doctor, nothing more.
Chapter 7
Two days later and Addison still didn’t know what to make of Decland Wallace and his odd text messages. She’d thought that he’d start messaging her daily, but she hadn’t heard anything from him. Whether or not she was disappointed about that remained to be seen. In exactly fifteen minutes he would be here for his appointment, and she had no idea what to do. Refer him to another doctor and she’d likely never see him again; continue on this path and she’d lose her license. She sat at her desk wringing her hands as she thought over all the possible outcomes of an inevitable problem.
Suddenly, her door burst open as Jeffrey came flying in, a flutter of busy energy. “What are you doing?” he asked excitedly.
He stood over her in his perfectly pressed three piece suit. Addison allowed her head to fall into her hands. She whined, face down on the desk. “I have no idea what I’m doing.”
“Dramatic much?” He straightened his sleeves as he sat in the chair across from her desk, crossing his legs. His direct gaze had her wanting to spill every sordid detail about what was going on.
Addison looked up at him then began rubbing her hands over her eyes. “How many more appointments do I have after this next one?”
“Four.” He pursed his lips as he studied her. “You’re doing that thing you do when you’re stressed.”
“What thing?”
“That thing where you rub your hands into your face and try to pull the skin off. It’s gross.” He leaned forward and slapped one of her hands away from her face. “Your night cream isn’t going to be able to keep the elasticity in your skin if you keep tugging at it.”
“Cancel the rest of my appointments,” she groaned as she slouched back into her chair.
Jeffrey’s mouth hung open for a moment, but he quickly gathered himself. “You never cancel appointments. Even when you had the flu last year you didn’t cancel appointments.”
“For once, please just do what I ask without questioning every little thing.” She knew she was whining, but really, what more could she do? She was in no mood to listen to anyone else’s problems when she had a few of her own. Including her next patient, whom she was going to see in five minutes.
Jeffrey rose to his feet slowly. “Very well, boss lady, but your next patient will be here in less than five minutes. Shall I turn him away at the club entrance?”
A small hiccup of laughter bubbled up her throat. “Should’ve done that a while ago,” she muttered to herself.
“Excuse me?” Jeffrey clearly hadn’t heard her.
“Nothing,” she sighed. “I’ll take him, but he’s the last one for the day. Okay?”
“Are we on our period or something? Because I could arrange for chocolate and heating pads to be at your apartment when you get there.”
“As lovely as that sounds, I’ll have to defer for at least two more weeks.”
“According to your calendar that would be correct.” He laughed as he turned for the door. “Would you like me to stay and wait, or shall I leave after I’ve finished up?”
It was normal for Jeffrey to go home as soon as they were done for the day. He usually had all calls transferred to his cell phone and answered everything that way. Addison waved a dismissive hand. “Just show him in first, then you can go.”
With a fake salute, he opened the door and stepped through. “Okay, Captain.”
What was she doing? Canceling all her appointments, clearing out the office… it was like she wanted Decland all to herself the moment his amazing ass hit the leather couch. At this point, she didn’t know what to expect, but whatever he came at her with, she would be professional. Completely professional. Her phone buzzed a moment later. “Hello?”
“Dr. Tyler, Decland Wallace to see you.” The moment she heard his name, a small thrill went down her spine.
“Thank you, please bring him in... in five minutes.”
Jeffrey’s words faltered for a moment, “F-five minutes?”
“That’s right.” She hung up the phone and pulled her small mirror out of her purse. She smiled into the glass, checking to make sure her teeth were clean. She swiped a bit of lip gloss over her lips. Lastly, she ran her hand over her high bun, making sure not a hair was out of place. Smoothing her hands over her gray skirt, she checked that the top of her thigh-highs weren’t peeking out. For some reason, her beautiful undergarments made her feel strong, empowered. However, right now, she felt as though she’d worn them for him. When she’d slipped those black lace panties on, she’d pictured Decland’s face as he ripped them off.
A light knock came at the door. It opened slowly as Jeffrey peeked around the door, his eyes wide. “Decland Wallace to see you.” He stepped through, fanning himself for a split second for only Addison to see.
She smiled brightly as he came into the room with all the confidence in the world. Running his hand through his just-fucked dark locks, he smiled warmly at her, his eyes roaming over her body like he already owned it. Silently cursing herself, her body reacted like it belonged to him. Her stomach fluttered as she extended her hand in greeting. The moment his large, warm grasp covered hers, she wanted to pull him closer, just to feel the heat of the rest of his body. Placing her professional smile across her face, she tried to remain calm. “Mr. Wallace, so good to see you again.”
“Thank you, Dr. Tyler. It’s good to see you, too.” His shook her hand carefully. All the while, his words trickled over her body like cool drops of rain on a summer day. Each word sizzled as it touched her. A dark look of desire passed over his features before he turned from her. A moment later, he removed his suit coat and tossed it over the arm of her leather couch. “Mind if I get comfortable?”
“Yes, please,” Jeffrey answered before Addison could. He stood staring at Decland like he was at a Thunder From Down Under show. Any minute, Addison thought he was going to scream Take it all off! Thankfully, he didn’t.
“That will be all. Thank you, Jeffrey.” She pushed him out the door and closed it quickly behind him.
She turned and headed for her client seating area. Before she got there, Jeffrey popped his head back in. “Can I get you anything else?”
“I think we are good. You can go home now. I’ll lock up.” Clearly the subtle hint of pushing him out the door wasn’t enough to get him to go away.
“Okay, Doctor. See you tomorrow.” He winked as he pulled the door closed.
Decland remained standing, watching Addison’s every move. As she slid into the leather chair in her designated patient area, she smiled as she motioned toward the couch. “Please, make yourself comfortable. We have a lot to discuss.”
He unbuttoned the top button of his black shirt, revealing his muscular neck. Next, he loosened the buttons on his cuffs and slowly rolled up his sleeves to his elbows, revealing toned forearms. For an instant, she
wondered if they’d gotten so toned from the gym or another, personal kind of workout that involved a happy ending. A small smile played on his lips, like he knew exactly what she was thinking. Like he could see the hunger in her eyes. Addison crossed her legs, feeling a slight tingle low in her abdomen. She squeezed her thighs together trying to ignore the throbbing need. The moment the fuckable bastard had entered the room, she wanted him. “So today, I think we should discuss past lovers.”
He leaned back onto the couch, his large body seeming to take up the whole space. “You’d like me to strip down my past experiences?”
Yes, strip! “I think it would be prudent to determine what triggers your sense of boredom.”
“So, bare my soul to you on only our third meeting?”
“Second meeting, actually,” she quickly corrected. Oh, shit! He fucking knows it was me! Her heart slammed into her chest as she tried not to panic.
“Second, right.” He rubbed his hand across his five o’clock shadow.
“When did you last engage in a sexual act?” She pushed her glasses farther up her nose as she readied her notepad and pen.
“A couple weeks ago.” His green eyes seemed to darken as he answered her question.
“Did you find this particular encounter satisfying?” Please, God, say it was satisfying. She sucked in a breath waiting for the answer.
“HMMM…” he purred. “It was very satisfying.”
Pride coursed through her system. She’d satisfied this experienced man. “What did you find so satisfying about it?”
“She was… how can I put it?” He paused for a moment, seeming to choose his words. “…delicious.” His mouth rolled around the word like he was savoring her all over again.
Delicious was an interesting way of putting it. “That seems like very high praise. What did she do to you that you found to be delicious?”
“You want me to lay out every detail?”
“Yes, I would. It is important that we figure out exactly what turns you on. What are you attracted to and how do we make those things work to your advantage?” As she asked him the questions that she would normally ask a patient, she felt wrong somehow. Like she needed this knowledge for her own personal gain.
His eyelids grew heavy. His voice dipped lower like it had the night they’d been together. “Are you sure that’s what you want?”
As he stared at her, he could feel her breath grow shallower with each passing second. Wetness started to pool between her legs. I can’t believe I’m going to listen to this. Clearing her throat, she attempted to regain control of her traitor body. “Absolutely. Are you comfortable talking about it?”
“I’d be more comfortable if you were on the same level as I was.” He seemed completely at ease with himself like he knew exactly what he was doing.
“What does that mean?”
“Well, I’m sitting here about to be emotionally bare to you. Only seems fair if you were on the same level as me.”
“I’m not here to discuss my personal life with you.”
“I didn’t say you had to.” His lush lips parted in a smirk.
“Then what are you saying?”
“I think that if we were both equally uncomfortable then this would be a lot easier. I’d feel more…” He paused, looking for the word. “Forthcoming.”
“What do you suggest would put us on this same emotionally bare level?”
“Well, you could remove your underwear…” He trailed off, letting the suggestion hang in the air between them.
“Excuse me?” Shocked, she could feel her jaw drop. She squirmed in her chair, warmth trickling low between her legs. The thought of being so accessible to him but never acting upon it aroused her.
“I’ve read your book, Dr. Tyler. You plainly state that while engaging in sessions with your patients you will dress to fit their comfort level. Whether it’s wearing a robe or pajamas, you do it to make your patients feel more at ease.” He shifted in his seat facing her, like he was challenging her. She could feel her cheeks redden. Her nerves were shot. At this point, there was no going back. Especially with a man like Decland Wallace.
“Yes, for many of my patients, I do. However, we are not in a couple’s session, so I see no need to remove my panties.”
“So you treat all your patients differently, allowing for individual comfort levels?”
“You could say that.” Why am I even entertaining this thought?
“Am I not important enough to you to make me feel comfortable?” His eyes danced playfully as he played devil’s advocate with her.
Addison sighed and rose to her feet. “Very well, Mr. Wallace.” She slipped her shaky hands up her skirt and grasped the tiny strip of fabric at her hip. With quick moves, her panties slid down her legs. Picking up her feet carefully, she pulled them past her new, black snakeskin pumps and stepped out of them. She held up the black lacy fabric so he could see them, then tossed them on her desk.
He sat gaping at her open mouthed, his eyebrows raised so high they were nearly lost under the hair that fell into his eyes. “I can’t believe you did that.”
She took her seat, her chest about to burst with adrenaline. “Well, now you’ll be comfortable enough to continue on with our session.” She sat back down in her chair crossing her legs, her skirt riding higher up her thigh than before. The black lace at the top of her thigh-highs peeked out. She made no move to cover them back up. This is unbelievable.
Decland cleared his throat. “I was at a bachelor party a couple weeks ago. And we were at this club.”
“What kind of club?” she interrupted.
“At first I thought it was a strip club.” He ran his hands up and down his black trousers. “Then I realized it was a bit more.”
“Did you find that a turn on?” She leaned forward in her chair, not wanting to miss a single word he uttered about that night. She was in the one position that most women would kill to be in. To know exactly how their partner felt after having sex.
“I found it… intriguing. There were some things I’d never do. But others, I’d be more than willing to try.” His mischievous smile caught her off guard as if he was offering to do those things with her.
“We’ll come back to that later.”
“Oh, will we?”
“Yes. What I’d like to know is what does this have to do with your most recent lover?”
His body leaned in closer toward her, although he didn’t seem to realize he’d moved. “She was amazing. At first, I’d walked into this room to escape a waitress who wouldn’t leave me be. I’d been watching this captivating woman before that, then there she was, this beautifully mysterious woman that I’d never met before.” His eyes searched hers like he was waiting for something.
Addison dropped her pad and pen in her lap. “Please continue.”
His voice became low, methodical. “I was instantly attracted to her. She stood in front of me in the sexiest outfit I’d ever seen. At first, I thought she was studying to become a Dom, but she turned out to be something else altogether.”
“And what was it that she turned out to be?” Her ego flared as Decland described what seemed to be a beautiful, sexual creature. It was flattering to hear herself described that way. He thought I was beautiful. Her skin broke out in goose bumps as the excitement of reliving that night with Decland began.
“She turned out to be exactly what I needed.” He slouched down on the couch, his head resting on the back of it. He looked up at the ceiling trying to recall the experience.
“And what did you need?” She knew her voice sounded breathless, though she couldn’t help it.
“She was like no other woman I’ve ever met. Her words and actions were so direct, and when she touched my body, it was like electricity running through my veins. Everything just lit up.”
Addison could feel her nipples begin to tighten as his words filled the room. That night had been electric. “What happened?” she whispered, urging him on.
“We spoke for a short time. She had such a quick wit, and the way she handled that obnoxious waitress with such class, it was a turn on. And when I put my hands on her body, she responded like it belonged to me and only me. I owned every inch of her smooth, soft flesh.”
Oh, God! That’s exactly what she’d felt like that night. It was true—every touch or command he gave her, she followed without question. He owned her. “So you like being in charge?”
He ran his hands through his hair. “It’s hard to admit, but yes, I do.”
“It makes sense. You are in command of all aspects of life. Why not this? What was it about her that you found so pleasing?”
“The moment I took control, she bent to my will, but at some points, she would just do what she wanted.”
So he likes defiance as well. “Tell me more.”
“Her body was so responsive, every touch would earn me a little moan.”
She closed her eyes remembering his hands pulling down that zipper and exposing her breasts. She recalled arching up into him, begging for his touch.
Shaking herself, she tried to focus on the patient in front of her. Slowly, he turned his head, his eyes revealing the hunger he’d felt towards her that night. Addison cleared her throat. “Please continue.” With every word, she became wetter, the tingling sensation from before turning into a deep, throbbing desire to have him between her legs once more. The cool air on her panty-less wetness was just another reminder that there was nothing between her bare core and his magnificent cock. Straddling him would only take moments. She could have him sliding into her in seconds. Even so, she held herself in place, listening to every deep word he uttered.
“When my lips wrapped around her tight, little nipple it was like running my tongue over the most perfect little bud. Even thinking about it now.” He grunted low in his throat. “As I slid my cock into her, it was like a warm, tight, wet fist holding onto me, never letting go.” For a moment, his hips lifted up off the couch as if the memory was enough to make him feel her again. “Sliding in and out of her little body… just… ugh.” He growled as his words failed him once more. “Her skin was so soft I was afraid I’d lose control and grab her too tightly, but the more I held on, the wetter she got. It was like… like she knew exactly how to drive me wild.”
